After both the Humidex and the exhaust vent are properly installed, you can now plug the Humidex in the closest outlet. The Humidex unit possesses a label illuminated by LEDs that will indicate the set humidity preference, if the unit is powered On and if the unit has detected a higher than usual amount of CO. 


To set your humidity preference, press the center button of the label to cycle through the different humidity settings.



  • If you wish to have the unit on for a continuous basis, press the button until the humidity level reaches 25%.
  • If you would like it to run to its minimal capacity, press the button until the humidity level reaches 65%.
  • Manufacturer’s suggested setting is to be place the humidity level between 45% and 55%.
