The preferences menu allows users to change certain display settings of the control. These settings include time format (12h/24h), language (English, French, Spanish), time zone, temperature unit (F°, C°), and daylight savings.

 | Use the DOWN ARROW to select "Preferences" |
 | Tap the RIGHT ARROW to access "Preferences" Use the DOWN ARROW to select "Time Settings". Press the RIGHT ARROW. |
 | Use the UP/DOWN ARROW to cycle through the different options. Once the desired setting is selected press the RIGHT ARROW to accept it. |
