Some situations, mostly crawlspaces, may run into an issue with the height of the crawlspace. A crawlspace unit is 30” tall and if the height of the crawl space allows give the proper height (30” – 34”) the unit will fit without issue.
In some cases the crawl space could be less than 30” in height which keeps the unit from being able to be installed on a vertical incline. In this situation the unit can be tilted at a 45 degree angle to allow the system to sit in the area and ventilate. The main thing to ensure is that the bottom corner is 3” off the floor as normal to avoid blocking the vents.
